All new students should report to the school office on their first days, please.

Since no one has replied all day, I started a new thread for the school. :]

I walked through the halls, carrying a tiny piece of paper in my fingers. It was a note from the principal telling the woman at the front desk that I was a new student. I walked around the corner and turned the brass doorknob and walked into the small room.

"Hello." I answered briskly. "New student? Here's your form." My fingers pinched a blue sheet. "Hand it to all of your teachers and give it back at the end of the day." I smiled warmly. "Name please?"

"Welcome Brianne. Hope you enjoy Forks High School."

I rolled my eyes.
"The Cullens."

That was the strange family who believed in magical things, like 'Vampires.'
I snickered, and continued taking the notes that were written on the board.

"Hello," Nicolette said quietly, averting her eyes as she reached for a sheet. She leaned across him and felt stupid for doing so. She quickly glanced at him from the corner of her eye, but almost instantly looked away.

"Hm?" I asked, still glancing at the board, then my paper.

"Oh, hey," I said.

A shiver went down my spine as we made eye contact. It was like...she was looking right through me.
I closed my eyes for a moment, and opened them.
"Nathaniel."

"I like that name," She said slowly, letting a dark curl escape over her shoulder. She pinched a sheet between two of her fingers and recoiled, grabbing her binders off the table she'd set them on and waved politely. "See you around." She walked away. Nicolette now faced another student. "Yeah, new." She hooked the strand of black hair behind her ear.

Hee. Oops.
I read Shannon's story and thought I was RPing in third person myself.

Nicolette raised a dark eyebrow and politely held out her hand, "I'm Nicolette."

Nicolette recoiled, her brow furrowing and her eyes flaring angrily.
"I'm not sure what you mean by that," She said, the malice in her voice a sadistic contrast to her sweet disposition.

I stiffled a laugh.
"Vampire?" I asked the girl.
"Are you serious?"

Nicolette's right hand tightened into a fist and her teeth clamped together audibly. "Who do you think you are?" She hissed.

"What are you talking about? Everyone knows vampires aren't real." I shook my head and laughed again.
