oh shit I cursed under my breath, thinking of a way to escape their soon to be clutches on me.

Nicolette's eyes flashed into the wood, instantly crouching into a fight-ready stance. A dark, snarling growl erupted from her chest, the ferocious noise defying her delicate look. She tensed all over, her eyes searching every break within every tree.

Nicolette elbowed him in the gut, and raised an eyebrow at his attempts.

Genevievewasn't sure what to do. I debated between phasing or running away. She folded her arms across her chest, and took a step closer.
"If you were the ones who bite Jacob, then scram your little vampire asses out of here!"she whisper-hissed, a growl sounding from her chest.

"Who's Jacob?" Nicolette almost said, but pressed her lips together in a pursed line, still tense.

"Don't pretend you don't know." Genevieve spat. "Our second-in-command, bloodsucker."

"I have no idea who you're talking about," Nicolette said through clenched teeth.

"You don't have to pretend to act nice." Genevieve responded curtly to the vampire boy.

"I haven't bit anyone," Nicolette said, appalled. Actually... she quickly looked out of the corner of her eye at Nathaniel.
