She tried to collect her scatterbrained thoughts, and grabbed his hand in two of hers. Trying to sound collected and coy, she said, "Where ever you'd like to go." Besides her attempts, she sounded confused and the slightest bit frightened.

Nicolette grabbed his hand and pulled herself close to him, fitting herself into the contours of his body. "Listen, Nathaniel, they are probably one of the most dangerous things to our kind," She ran her hand up his side. "But I know them," Her voice was a quivering whisper now, her confident movements not touching her eyes or tone. "We'll be safe if we..." She looked down, deliberating. "Let's go back," She agreed.

I raised my eyebrows, suprised that she actually said yes.
"Let's go then," I said, starting to walk back through the thick forest.

After running around a bit with the rest of the pack, Gen phased back into her human form, and wandered around aimlessly,until coming upon a boy and a girl vampire whispering. She wrinkled her nose at the sickeningly sweet smell, and listened in quietly, trying her best not to make a sound despite her clumsiness.
