Oh, jeez. Kara thought, running over to Brayden, who lay crumpled on the ground. Don't move. She told him, phasing back to her human form. She ran over to the other members of the pack who had phased back to their human forms, too.
"What should we do?" She asked them, her eyes going back and forth between the pack and Brayden.
"He can't phase while he's hurt or it will make it worse, so we can't take him to the hospital..." Sam told her, walking over to Brayden.
"Carlisle?" Kara suggested, following Sam.
"I guess... One of us should go get him."
"We need help from the bloodsucker again? No thanks." Paul sneered, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Paul, what do you want to do? Take him to the vet?"

Brayden laughed, but that made his ribs ache.

Oh shit He realized, coughing and making it worse.

Kara looked back at him nervously and turned back to the rest of the pack.
"Carlisle." She said again.
"...Fine." Paul said, surrendering.

Brayden whimpered, wanting to phase out of his wolf form. His lungs and ribs ached and his heart was beating too fast.

Genevieve went in to check on Jacob to find the guy who she met at the beach and Kara.
"Did he get hurt?" Gen asked,worried.

Brayden, still in wolf form, rolled his large charcoal eyes.

No, I'm just laying here in pain because I feel like it.

A low, raspy growl escaped his lips.

Kara pulled out her cell phone from her now ripped jeans (Which were now shorts) and dialed Carlisle's number. She got it from him after he helped Jake and Gen.
"Hello?" A soft-spoken voice said.
"Carlisle?"
"This is he."
"This is Kara White, from LaPush."
"Oh, hello dear."
"I hate to ask, but we need your help."
''With what?"
"One of the members of our pack was crushed. He can't move, and we don't want to move him."
"Oh."
"I hate to ask, but could you come help him?"
"Of course. It's my job."
"Thank you so much!" She squealed into the phone and hung up.

Brayden tried to adjust his position, but it was impossible to do without pain. He looked up at Kara with wide, questioning eyes.

Who's coming?

Kara knocked on Genevieve's door and waiting impatiently, tapping her foot. "Gen? Ya home?" She asked, knocking again.

"I'm here." Gen called, dropping a fresh load of laundry. "Going to check on Jacob?" I was secretly extremely happy that I was about to see him again.

"Yesh. Let's go." Kara said, bending her arm and holding it out, waiting for Gen to hook arms with her.

Gen linked her arm, and said, "I feel like I'm on my way to see the Wizard of Oz." She sighed. "So anyway, did you see that Brayden guy? I met him at his beachhouse. He's a nice slightly sarcastic werewolf."

"Yes, I've met him..." Kara said, looking to the side. "He's quite nice, actually."

Brayden is extremely sarcastic.

"I'm not saying he's not nice." Gen protested. "I've seen you look at him." She giggled. "So, have you gone on a little werewolf date yet?"

Kara stopped walking and turned to face Gen. "He was this close to kissing me, Gen. This close." She pinched her fingers together, leaving little space to symbolize how close she meant.
