"Now that's a lie," Brayden said, his eyes flickering to meet Kara's with blazing curiosity. Almost as quickly as he'd averting his gaze, he looked down to the carpet. He brushed the crumbs from the cookie off the collar of his polo shirt and resisted a smile.

"Kara probably thinks so, she's just a little wimpy to hide it." Gen winked.
