"Yep," He said, taking the hand she raised in his other hand. "I'm Quileute." Still deciding on the next thing he should do, he moved his hand down a little so it was against her neck, her skin just as searing hot as his.

"Ouch," She hissed, ruining the romantic moment. She looked down to see a little crab pinching her foot. She kicked it away and laughed, embarrassed.

He smiled and pulled her the slightest bit closer to him. "I don't know what to do," He admitted, translating his thoughts aloud.

"You could kiss me if you want..." She said, flirtatiously, stepping a little closer to him.

He took a deep breath and gently pressed his lips against hers. Just for the split second, he pulled her closer into him. Then, a wave licked in from the ocean and drenched them both from head to toe, making Brayden jump away.

Kara stood there with her arms out and her jaw wide open.
"Well, that was romantic." She said sarcastically, laughing.

He shook out his damp hair, realizing how close to dry it had become. "Sorry, I don't control high tide."

She smiled, touching her hair. Just as she thought; it was already dry.

"Sorry if I just ruined our friendship there."

She smiled. "It's OK. You didn't ruin it. You just...made it stronger."

I grabbed my wrist with my other hand, and lept higher into the tree. I ran accross the long branch, and jumped onto the next tree, and the next. I ended up next to where her brother was, and my eyes widened. There were the shoelaces, but the boy was gone. I looked around, starting to get scared. He could attack me at any moment, and I would have little defense. I leaned against the tree from a strong limb, and waited.

I grabbed her punch with my unharmed hand, and twisted it around, making her face the other way. moved her so she was smushed against the tree, and pushed harder, making her bones creak and bend. "Goodby-" My jaw dropped, and my eyes widened again. I slowly turned around, and saw the little boy. Shoved in my back was the blade I had made out of wood. I closed my eyes, and fell off of the tree to the ground.
