The waves rolled and crashed over each other, and I stood on the shoreline, letting them wash around my feet. The rain had me soaked to the bone, and I shivered.
Something flashed in the distance. I squinted, hardly able to see past the blowing rain. Something light...
A person was walking towards me. I spun around and ran, further into the Reservation. Smoke billowed out of the chimney of a lone cabin, and I inhaled sharply.
It's only smoke.
It hung in the air, mixing with the rain, and I was reminded again that the past was real.

Tears streamed down my closed lids, each a river along each black lash, flinging and spitting down my sides. The white dress was dirtied and torn, the black mocassins holey and tight. I flicked them off with ease and tore of a sash from the dress to keep my grip on... The Grand Piano. It was five times the size of me and the only thing I really ever owned. Icy rain blended with my running tears as I opened my eyes. I might have looked like Bridezilla running out with a monster machine in the downpour. I took the nearest route and ran.
All my life was running, I realized and accidently slammed the major C. Running away from every situation possible to dodge. SLAM.A Minor. I was permanently alone, stuck running when there was nothing to run from but myself. SLAM. Chord G. I didn't need anyone to help me. I never did. They wouldn't help anyway- SLAM.
A sickening crunch snapped ans shook me to the bone. My gripping finger had slid through a chipped hole. It was stuck. I wrenched my arm back as a bowler would and flung the piano off. It shook the ground like the clashing of thunder as powdery dirt filtered the Earth leaving everything dazed and cloudy. Or maybe it was me crying.

I hiccupped and half-walked, half-crawled towards the ebony boulder. Its legs were sticking out of the ground, the rest of the solid monster buried a few feet under. The lace curtain protecting my memories from falling out of the keys' cracks had been blown away. An old framed photo of Grampa was cracked, the frame snapped.
It was awhile before I realized there were people- no, animals watching... me.
"What... do... you.. want?" I forced, wiping tears from my stinging eyes.

I walked along the Reservation coast, scared to go back to the place where I had seen the person. There were the crackling remains of a campfire, and I fought the urge to run.
Wood splinters covered the ground, and I looked around, confused. What had happened here?

Very. I loved the one post about Hannah's past. I saved it.

I sniffed, having collapsed on the mass of broken keys after scaring the creatures away.
Whether they left or went to get reinforcments, I didn't care. The only thing in my life that I really owned was tore into shreds. I felt like I was there again, a man leaning over me and carressing my cheek. His fang-like teeth were white and solid, smooth surfaces gliding across my brow. He was pleasant, his cool breath on my skin and soothing words. He shouldn't have been trusted.
The man laughed in a velvet chuckle and then bit down hard. Fire scorched my veins, my throat about to close. I didn't cry out, I couldn't. The pain was unbearable. Warm blood soaked my flower-girl dress as my leg had a series of spasms, flinging scarlet blood everywhere.
I was rushed to the hospital, thought dead in an hour. I heard the nurses telling Daddy that my heart had stopped and my pulse gone. He left immediatly, fleeing me, fleeing his only daughter, his disasterous creation. I flew out the window when the moon was up, feeling the sensation on my back, the sting that someone was watching me, another of my kind. He called out and I could hear him before opening my eyes to the rush of cold air. I knew he was a surgeon, a brilliant one at that. I ran from him; I ran from a chance of a painless recovery. My eyes wandered to someone lying brokenly in the mess. I stood still, not sure what to do. It looked like a very young child.
"Hello?" I whispered, not able to speak any louder.

I stood compleatly still. "Are you ok?"

Confusion clouded my mind, and I sighed. "What happened? Who are you, anyways?" There was something strange here. Something was not right.
